[Authentic] Sociological perspectives

The essay applies sociological perspectives to a topic chosen from a list of contemporary society
topics.
NOTE: Analyse your topic drawing on at least one sociological perspective (e.g. conflict theory,
feminism, functionalism or symbolic interactionism).
In the 1950s, functionalist sociologists such as Talcott Parsons argued that a nuclear family
provides for stability in society, and that society would become unstable if family forms, such as
single parent or same-sex marriage, were encouraged. To what extent do you agree or disagree
